That spirit is at the heart of an Àjọ Circle. Instead of money, what we pool here is wisdom, perspective, and lived experience. Each person brings their truth, their questions, their reflections. Together, we create clarity that none of us could have found on our own.
In Yoruba, Àjọ means “a gathering with purpose.” Traditionally, it describes communities pooling their resources so that everyone can thrive. Each person contributes, each person benefits, and no one is left to carry the burden alone.
Each circle runs for a set number of weeks so there is time for trust and clarity to build.
Circles form around interest. When enough people raise their hand for a theme, the circle begins.
Sessions are structured but flexible: a rhythm of check-in, shared focus, deep conversation, and one clear step to take forward.
Working with Ani came at a pivotal moment in my life. As a single mother with my children nearing the end of college, I knew it was time to finally step into something I had wanted for years, starting my own consulting business. Ani’s guidance gave me the clarity and confidence I needed to move forward. Her sessions helped me trust my timing, my experience, and my vision. I’m now building a path that truly aligns with who I am, and I’m so grateful for her support in helping me take that leap.
I’m Kristen P, a consultant in Chicago, and like a lot of young professionals in my mid-20s, I felt pretty aimless in my personal life after college. Working with Ani was a turning point. She helped me get clear not just on my professional goals, but on who I want to be, the kind of partner and friend I want to show up as, and what I want my life to look like long term. Ani asks thoughtful, challenging questions that really make you think, and I walked away with a much stronger sense of direction and clarity. I’d highly recommend her to anyone feeling stuck or looking for more intention in their life.
